Approximately 1p.m. on September 5, 2011, individual was the fully seat-belt restrained operator of a motor-vehicle that was stopped at a flashing draw bridge light on Southeast 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida. The Defendant, was operating a vehicle, owned by another Defendant #2, which was traveling behind . First defendant failed to come to a stop in time and collided with the rear of individual’s vehicle. Due to the significant force of impact, individual’s vehicle was forced into the vehicle in front of him.
